Smart Telecom develops strategic partnership with GT to implement new customer service system

Smart Telecom, the second largest provider of residential, corporate and SME telecommunications services in Ireland, has developed a strategic partnership with Graham Technology, the largest process management provider in Ireland, to implement a new high quality customer service process.

The process improvement systems and consultancy provided by Galway based Graham Technology will enable Smart Telecom to further improve service as they continue their aggressive growth path in the Irish marketplace.

These new processes, combined with Graham's GT-X technology, will provide Smart Telecom with full visibility and tracking of customer correspondence. This will ensure that customer interaction is as straightforward as possible and will work to increase customer satisfaction.

Efficiencies will be gained through automating processes, some of which are manual, and the system will enable Smart Telecom contact centre agents to be more productive and proactive, thus providing higher levels of customer service.

Fiona Graham, managing director of Graham Technology Ireland, commented: "Smart Telecom is a very dynamic company which is aiming to provide the best possible service to its customers. We are delighted to be working with Smart Telecom to help them deliver their vision for rapid growth and service excellence. This is an exciting project, embracing change and focussing on improvement and ultimately benefiting Smart Telecom's customers."

Ciaran Casey, Chief Operating Officer with Smart Telecom, said, "Through a number of workshops, Graham Technology demonstrated an understanding of our current challenges and how they could help us achieve our vision. The cultural synergy between our two organisations is already obvious and we look forward to achieving significant results as a closely knit team."
